Return Policy
1. Purpose
This Policy explains when and how products supplied by GSP Industries (Pty) Ltd can be returned. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Refund Policy.
2. Eligibility for returns
2.1 Returns are considered where:
- Products are defective, damaged or not of acceptable quality on delivery
- Products are incorrect or do not match the order or agreed specifications
- We have agreed in writing to accept a return as part of a special arrangement. Goods remain the property of GSP Industries until payment is received in full.
- A 10% handling fee will be charged on incorrectly ordered goods.
- Returns will not be accepted for goods that have been received and signed for.
2.2 Where products meet specification and are not defective, we are not obliged to accept it back, especially in the case of custom manufactured or branded thermal rolls. However, we may, at our discretion, agree to accept a product subject to handling fees and conditions that we will communicate to you in writing.
3. Time frames
3.1 You should notify us in writing of any issues as soon as reasonably possible after delivery, preferably within 7 days.
3.2 We reserve the right to reject products where a substantial delay makes it impossible or impractical to verify the alleged defect, damage or discrepancy.
4. Condition of returned goods
4.1 Unless otherwise agreed, products must:
- Be in their original or substantially similar packaging
- Be unused, unsoiled and in a condition suitable for inspection and possible resale
- Include all accessories, labels and documentation that were supplied with the products.
4.2 Products that have been stored incorrectly, exposed to moisture, heat, contamination or physical damage after delivery may not be eligible.
5. Return procedure
5.1 Contact us at info@gspindustries.co.za with your order number, details of the items to be logged and the reason for the query.
5.2 We will advise whether the product(s) are provisionally approved and provide instructions regarding courier arrangements, drop off points or collection.
5.3 Unless the product is due to our error or a confirmed defect, you may be responsible for the cost of couriering the products to us.
5.4 Once we receive the returned products, they will be inspected to verify the reason for return and their condition.
6. Outcomes
Depending on the result of the inspection and the nature of the issue, we may:
- Repair the products where feasible
- Replace the products with the same or similar items
- Provide a credit or refund in accordance with our Refund Policy
- Courier the products to you without replacement or refund where the return conditions have not been met.
7. Risk
You are responsible for the risk of loss or damage to products while they are in transit back to us, unless we arranged the courier or collection. We recommend that you package returned items securely and keep tracking details.
