Refund Policy
1. Purpose
This Refund Policy sets out when customers of GSP Industries (Pty) Ltd may receive a refund for products purchased from us. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Return Policy.
2. General principles
2.1 GSP Industries strives to supply high quality thermal paper products that meet agreed specifications.
2.2 Refunds are considered in line with applicable South African consumer and commercial law, as well as our internal quality and customer service standards.
2.3 Refunds are processed by EFT only and will be made to the original payer or the bank account used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.4 We no longer accept cheques as a form of payment.
2.5 All Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments must clear in our accounts before delivery or collection can take place.
2.6 Collections must be pre-arranged.
3. When a refund may be granted
You may qualify for a partial or full refund in the following situations, subject to inspection and verification:
- Products are defective, damaged or not of acceptable quality on delivery
- Products differ materially from what was ordered or from agreed specifications
- We are unable to fulfil the order due to stock unavailability or other reasons on our side and you do not wish to accept an alternative solution
- An agreed cancellation is processed prior to production or dispatch, in which case an administration fee may apply to cover costs already incurred.
Where a defect or error relates to only part of an order, we may limit the refund to the affected items.
4. When refunds are not available
Refunds will generally not be granted in the following situations:
- Where products signed for, have been used, stored or handled in a way that caused the defect or damage
- Where products were manufactured or printed according to your specific instructions, branding or custom specifications and are not resalable to others
- Where the complaint is lodged outside a reasonable period after delivery, and the delay makes it difficult to verify the issue
- Where you simply change your mind or no longer require the products, unless we expressly agree otherwise.
5. Process to request a refund
5.1 Notify us in writing at info@gspindustries.co.za with your order details, a description of the problem and, where possible, photographs or other supporting evidence.
5.2 We may request that you return the products to us for inspection in terms of our Return Policy.
5.3 Once the goods and documentation have been assessed, we will inform you whether your request has been approved, partially approved or declined.
5.4 Approved refunds will be processed within a reasonable period after approval, subject to the provision of correct banking details and any additional information we may reasonably require.
6. Calculation amounts
Where approved, the amount may include:
- The purchase price of the affected items
- A portion or all of the delivery cost where the defect or error is attributable to us.
We may deduct:
- Any discounts or promotions that no longer apply
- A reasonable handling or administration fee where allowed by law and where you are responsible for the cancellation or change.
